This Swedish trio is the first release on this label, which looks to be another offshoot of the mighty Putrid Filth Conspiracy, and they kick out some vicious crossover hardcore/thrash that ups the aggression level a bit to border on grind. The songs are fast as fuck and don't mess around, and the vocals are straight shouts with fast vocal patterns - definitely reminiscent of Municipal Waste, but without all the thrash metal. My chief complaint here is that there's too much low-end to the recording. It's really rugged, which is okay, but it needs a more even mix with some clarity, because it's sort of confusing the style that they're getting across. The bashing drums and throbbing low-end sort of make things feel more abrasive than they are, because despite some grind-ish influences, this is basically ripping crossover done the way it ought to be, and with a stronger or somehow more even sound they would be a lot more effective. I mean, shit, they tear right through 16 tracks in around six minutes, so they've definitely got something good going on! The record comes in a simple sleeve with some black and white over blue. The front cover has an illustration of a skateboarding skeleton punk brandishing a gun in one hand and the head of a cop in the other, and the back has the tracklist, contact information, and a photo of a guy that's been shot in the head or something. That's it. No insert, no band photos, no lyrics. Simple enough. I'll look out for these dudes in the future, because I have a feeling they're going to be making a name for themselves...
