Eight tracks, barely nine minutes. A duo. "High as Fuck" starts out, appropriately enough, with total stoner/doom riffs and low vocal growls... but rather than beat your face in for 10 minutes, they stop after two-and-a-half. Oh, and they ruin the song by launching into spastic grind a little over halfway through, complete with dual vocals (barked and screamed) and tons of blasts. Most of the other tracks are a similar mix of power violence-ish grind and sludgier moments with a wide array of vocals. The growls are the best, and some of the barking west coast styled vocals are cool, but the music ain't doin' it for me when they speed up. Maybe it's because the drummer's not very tight and the sound is too messy for the faster riffs to be clear, but I definitely prefer their killer slow parts to the grind. I think this is just guitar, drums, and vocals, but it sounds good nonetheless. Thick and nasty, rugged, but well mixed and tolerable. The CD-R comes in a plastic sleeve with a xeroxed cover. The artwork is sort of scribbled with some dark band photos, some of the lyrics are in German, and most of the song titles end in "...as Fuck". "High as Fuck", "Robot as Fuck", "Everlasting as Fuck"... do I really need to elaborate on the lyrics? I don't know, the core of the first song rules, and had my hopes up, but the rest of this tends to be pretty boring for me, as short as it is.
