So, I'm emailing back and forth with a fellow music fan about '90s hardcore bands that few people seem to recall, when all of a sudden he says something to the effect of, "Look up Ten Times Worse on YouTube. It's got Brian (ex-Neglect) on vocals, and myself on drums."
Wait, sorry, what's that now? Brian "Zoid" from Neglect, you say? Ummm, yes. I'm in. Way the fuck in!
I've not learned much about the Long Island-based outfit just yet, but Ten Times Worse was around from about 2000 - 2006 and did record (in some manner or another) more than just the four tracks that are currently on YouTube. If you love Neglect—and you should—you'll love Ten Times Worse, which is pretty much like a slightly slower and sludgier version of Neglect. The vocals and lyrical approach are, of course, unmistakable!
How did it take me so long to find out about this!?
