Okay, here's where I go off, because this demo is packaged like shit. The cover actually has a terrible illustration on it of a bunch of skeleton warriors attacking an Applebee's restaurant, where they are fighting snowmen. I shit you not. Skeletons fighting snowmen... at Applebee's. Fucking terrible. This is one of the worst demo covers I've seen in my life. Inexcusable. Of course, song titles like "Norse Snowstorm Apocalypse" and "Every Time I Fuck You it's Like Climbing a Mountain" are no help, nor are lyrics like "Die cunt burn bitch, Die bitch burn cunt", leaving this demo in a state of general fucking hopelessness. Musically it's okay, mixing everything from rhythmic and dissonant/frantic metalcore sounding stuff to thrash metal breakdowns or speedy black metal-ish chord progressions, screamo styled clean passages, etc. All with female vocals that could be screaming, could be squawking, could be irritating "singing". I don't know. I don't particularly like it, but for a demo it is pretty well performed and recorded. The bass tone is thick, the drums sound decent, the guitars are nice and heavy without being too dirty or anything, etc. I think the vocals could be mixed back in a little since they possess more treble than anything else, but this sounds good for a demo. I don't even mind the vocals when they're screamed, but some of the shrieking/singing shit is horrible. I can't take it seriously regardless because everything about the content and the presentation is absolutely terrible. If they would at least take being funny seriously they could be alright, but... I mean, is anyone that's not friends with this band or not from the same city as this band really gonna be that into this? Shit, they really ought to stop trying to be funny and just be a real band, because the thrash riffs rip and some of the screams are pissed as hell. A damn shame. Another example of why I tend to have no tolerance for "humor" in music.
