Here we have one long track of experimental noise from Norway, opening with some resonant metallic scrapings and bangings quickly being drowned in watery effects that shift rapidly back and forth. This continues for several minutes before dropping back to a faint sizzle with some bright chiming sounds in the distance. Truthfully this watery sort of midrange hustle that persists in the lower levels of most of the track, while loosely befitting of the title, is really quite irritating and takes away from the character of the more interesting sounds in the background. This kind of back and forth shifting comes and goes throughout, at times letting more ethereal textures surface. But it's a consistent 21 minutes, with variation, but nothing that deviates greatly from the path set within the opening minutes. The CD-R comes in a small clear sleeve with color xeroxed artwork that shows an old Japanese looking painting of a tidal wave or something of that sort. That's basically it, there's no contact information for the artist or anything. I'm not a big fan of this work to be honest. Were it not for all of the aforementioned reverberating midrange all over the place I think a much more interesting and sparse composition would be left, and I would have preferred that.
