Tons more from Patareni, this one being the fifth in their enormous 10-disc series of discography CD's. The layout includes some original record art and such, and it looks pretty cool, but as with the other discography releases in this series it's unfortunately lacking in information about the band and where these tracks originally came from, which is really frustrating as these CD's should be used as a tool to document the band and inform the listener about their history. From what I can gather this includes their split 7"s with U.B.R. and Atta, tracks from "The Return of Yugoslavia" compilation LP and "The Step by Step" compilation 7", possibly some unreleased demo songs, and songs from Patareni side projects like Buka and Debilana - totaling more than 50 tracks in a little over an hour. There are 29 tracks on the disc but many of the tracks contain more than one song. This stuff is a lot noisier and sloppier than what as on "Never Healed" and even more so than the "Nezadovoljstvo je Energija" disc as well, making it a bit less enjoyable than those two, though ironically this seems to be the best document of the band so far since it's easier to follow the tracklist and there aren't a ton of duplicated tracks or anything like that. Much of these songs are fast and rugged with only the occasional break of a punk influence in favor of more of a grind style complete with way over the top low growls. Many of the songs sound like they were probably recorded live in the studio, but the sound could be worse. I do think that the raw sound quality used for basically the entire set of sessions is a hindrance, but the biggest problem is that the songwriting and performances are lackluster, so this is just not really enjoyable like the "Never Healed" CD was. I guess this band was sort of hit and miss!? It's really hard to tell exactly what the band has to offer from these spastic discography CD's!
