All of this material was recorded between 1989 and 2002 and makes up this third out of a whopping 10 Patareni discography CD releases. I'm not 100% sure what this disc includes as there's not much information in the booklet (and what does exist isn't in English), but I think a lot of this stuff is demo tracks and possibly some unreleased recording sessions from the 90's. Who knows? This band hails from the former Yugoslavia and has obviously been around for a long, long time now (since the early 80's) playing what is exemplified here as a blasting form of hardcore/punk that sometimes leans more towards the grinding metal side and sometimes sways farther towards the crossover thrash/power violence side. Included here are an astounding 81+ tracks in just under 70 minutes (some of the track markers include more than one song in a brief amount of time), so the songs sort of fly by and it's hard to keep up. Among the more memorable tracks are great covers of U.B.R.'s "Utrujenost" and G.G. Allin's "No Rules", and I definitely prefer the band's slightly more straightforward side to the faster and more abrasive moments. The vocals are varying forms of low shouting/growling. There are even a couple of tracks that have a weird sort of humorous feel at times. A couple of the tracks are live, but you can barely tell aside from the occasionally more hollow sound and a few instances where it sounds like there's background noises or a crowd. I would imagine that the bulk of these songs were recorded in the 90's because the recording quality tends to be pretty damn good considering. You can hear all of the instruments, nothing gets too sloppy or noisy, the mixes are generally balanced, and so on. The packing is pretty minimal, with a huge tracklist, a few band photos, some artwork, and a few notes under the tray, but 99% of it's not in English, so I'm not 100% sure where all of these songs originally appeared. I think there's a pretty significant error on the CD as well, because after track #26 the tracks start repeating, so track #27 is the same as the first track on the disc, and so on, and it runs through those same 26 songs (give or take) over and over for 81 tracks, even though the tracklist on the packaging doesn't list any duplicate songs. This is pretty good, but that's a huge error, and one that makes the CD a bit less enjoyable, as in a sense there's only about 21 minutes of material here, it just repeats about three times per song... What the hell?
