Not bad. A quick EP of straightedge hardcore from Italy done in the youth crew sort of style with energetic tempos, simple chord progressions and song structures, etc. It's pretty much the usual, with yelled vocals, solid breakdowns, no metal, and so forth. It's basically generic, as is a lot of this particular style of hardcore, but I'm not bothered by that at all because this is a good set of songs. The title track is especially killer, with a slightly more aggressive attack that retains the memorable framework. For some reason the last track, "How Does it Feel", takes its lyrics (but not the music) from New Order's "Blue Monday". Strange. The recording is fine except for the fact that the kick drums are way too punchy and can overpower at times, but everything else is well recorded and mixed, including the nice bass presence. It's not perfect, but aside from some of those percussion issues everything sounds better than average, that's for sure. The record comes in a color sleeve with lots of black and white live photos and blocky text, so it could look better, but it gets the job done. The lyrical content is often standard and ranges from personal stuff to vegetarianism, the scene, etc. A good record, pound for pound. I'd definitely like to see a full-length from these guys based on the strength of the title track here.
