This is the third and most recent full-length (granted it's a short one) from these fun loving Brazilians out of Esp?rito Santo, and it's definitely their best work yet. Their combination of classic hardcore/punk and crossover is still in effect, and most of the songs are short and to the point, with some raging high screams along with the standard midrange shouting and some killer low growls, etc. "Nuderval" brings in some more ska types of influences, though calmer and slower than on their past efforts (and thankfully they keep that stuff to an absolute minimum). "Nasci em Vila Velha - Syntynyt Helsingiss?" is just blistering, almost having a grindcore sort of influence, but the music still has that catchy sort of crossover vibe going on (and the same goes for "?s Vezes o Diablo ? Mais Gente Boa Que Deus"). "Kustapassaaessedrmobral" even throws in some slower riffing for a brief period of time, and the tempo contrasts work awesome together. The production is really consistent and thick this time out. The drums sound great, the guitars are raw but effective, the vocals have a good place in the mix, and you can usually hear the bass runs throbbing away with the percussion. I'm not fond of the dirty lead tone because it stands out a bit much, but they rarely employ that tactic, so it's cool. This time around the layout is sort of set up like a comic book. All of the imagery is totally styled like comic book illustrations and has some rats having a dialogue with one another, and the lyrics are also presented in fonts that sort of look like comic book typefaces and sometimes they appear in "thought bubbles" or what have you. No English translations are provided, so... This is definitely a band to watch, and I'd recommend checking this record out if they interest you. It's short and in your face, the subtle diversity works out better, and nothing feels like overkill (which could be a problem on their first two records).
