Raging hardcore/punk from Sweden with some crust influences thrown in. For the most part it's fairly straightforward and common for the genre, using lots of moderately fast chord progressions and note bends. I definitely enjoy the multi vocal attack and vocal tradeoffs, with various layers of screaming and shouting adding a sense of urgency to the material. They cover "Hiroshima" by Moderat Likvidation early on, and then "Riot" is in more of a straightforward and fast almost early-80's hardcore style, while "Enemy of the State" and the title track are heavier and employ more metal based riffs with some melodic leads, bass breaks, etc. Everything is tightly performed and they've got a solid recording as well. It definitely lacks some density and needs more of a bass presence, plus a thicker guitar tone might be nice, but at the same time the clarity lets the intricate basslines show through (the bass playing is fucking great) and gives it more of a true hardcore/punk feel without sounding very metallic. The 7" is pressed on thick vinyl and comes in a well laid out sleeve using only white and a maroon type of color, complete with lyrics, a band photo, and some high contrast artwork. The lyrics are succinct and get straight to the point: "Ignore the people, Spit right in their face, Ignore the people, Greed and lies, Fuck those false fucks." Not bad at all. A few tracks aren't that interesting to me, but side B is a winner through and through!
