This cassette contains two lengthy untitled tracks of about 30 minutes each, consisting solely of totally minimal ambient drones and textures. But there's one blaring problem: I can't hear anything. Okay, I can hear something, but the cassette is so quiet that literally nothing registers on the output volume display. Cranking the volume to more than double its average level, I can faintly hear some drones and hums, but by that point the amount of tape hiss and extraneous noise is louder than the actual substance of the cassette, thus clouding any sounds that have been recorded. So, while technically I can't hear enough to even "review" this material, I have to say it never should have been released in its present state. The packaging isn't so bad. The case has been completely spraypainted a misty combination of blue and white, which looks nice. I have some issues with the sloppily handwritten recording information on the insert, and the cassette is just a store bought blank tape, but it's not a big deal. My main concern is that it's literally impossible to make out the music, which is the core of any release. I must state that everything released by this label is free of charge, which I highly respect, but it's more than a bit lazy/unprofessional to release a cassette of such a low level of audio quality like this, and I can't really think of any reason to justify such an action... so I have to be a little hard on this one as a result. (0/10)
