Holy shit, this is not at all what I expected. These dudes play raw and dirty punk rock with burly, gritty, sarcastic vocals that are all about perverted (and often violent) sex and alcohol. That's it. That's all there is to it. Simple chord progressions, basic lead breaks, rugged distortion all over the place... and a ton of perversity. It totally sounds like it could've come from the 80's, though. I can't say it brings any particular bands to mind because the vocals have their own thing going on, and the music is pretty much grimy, by the books punk rock... no shit. If you heard this without vocals you'd swear you've heard parts of it before. Hell, it's even catchy. It's almost upbeat at times... almost. But using the word "upbeat" when songs like "Horny Fuckin' Slut" are involved just seems so very wrong, ha... even if there is a dash of melody involved from time to time. As stated the production is pretty rough, but it totally works. It doesn't bother me at all. The mix is even, the dirtiness works out perfectly for their style, and it all sounds pretty much like it should based on where they're taking it. The guitars aren't heavy, just filthy, the bass is there, the drums are totally dry, and the vocals are dead in the center with the music. As one might expect, the cover art is... well... interesting? It's actually a nicely done sketch of a fucked up and barely clothed woman next to a trashcan and a bunch of garbage with a needle hanging out of her arm, a bottle of whiskey in one hand, used condoms all around, and, of course, a "wet slit". For the PC this is not. The lyrics hammer that point home even more: "Kiss me in the gutter take me home, I'll drink your booze and you can suck my bone, Give me drugs and a bit of cash, I'll stick my dick into your rotten gash..." Yeah, and the lyrics are all handwritten and spread out over collages of porn. Shocker. I must say, this is pretty damn good. I totally fucking hate the lyrics (not because I don't have a sense of humor, just because some of these tracks aren't as funny as others, and it can get distracting listening to an otherwise good song while hearing shit about buttfucking, stinky cunts, or whatever else they're spouting off about), but the songs fucking rip. And shit, songs like "Destroy the Factory" are fucking classic through and through... (7/10)
