Like people have been saying here, there is something missing.. The edge that both bands really got.. It's like Jamey and Kirk try to be the bigger star here, so they try their best outshine each other..Maybe it's just to much of something that wasn't THAT good in the first place? I don't know, it just doesn't work.. Maybe it's because Jamey didn't have that whole "fuck you, I know to well I can just do one thing, but it's my thing, damnit!!"-aspect over him this time.. Overall it's solid in my opinion. I understand some of the bias towards hating this, hatebreed is very easy to dislike, and this definitely has some hatebreed-esque moments. Again, what's the problem with Hatebreed + Crowbar? I was also very happy to see the inclusion of "Buried in Black" as the final track, the first song i heard from this band and still my favorite.
