I was in a band with Carlos from Interpol when we were kids and we used to cover "Nice Dreams" at practice. Years later I was in a band called Black Army Jacket and I met Liberty, their drummer, at a show in Minnesota.
So Powermad has announced that they are reuniting for shows and a new record in 2007. My band was practicing the other night when we heard the sounds of "slaughterhouse" echoing through the halls and discovered that Powermad was rehearsing a few doors down. They sounded great, I'm looking forward to the new record.
