But work has been insane, I no longer have an internet connection at home (damn you, neighbors, and your stinkin' newly secured networks), and my level of motivation has been… uhhh… lacking, to say the least. I don't know why. Hopefully I'll find it in me to get something else posted before next week. Although, next week's gonna be another short one, as I'm hittin' the NYC, so… who knows? Hey Andrew– I haven't been saying thanks like I meant to when I 1st started reading aversionline, but if you are up here in NYC for a show or to hang out I would love to say hi to you and buy you a beer– your reviews and blog have been such a resource and alot of fun to read for quite awhile now. I have helped book a fair number of shows with bands that I read about/discovered from your site. I live and work in Bushwick Brooklyn, but I'm all over the place and it would be a kick to get to thank you in person. Take it easy and hope you do make it up here– Walter Shepard

Walter's probably got the right Idea when it comes to alot of peeps that could say thanks and forget or don't for what ever their personal reasons are. The number of band's that I have started listening to because of Andrew are staggering, buying him a drink is one hell of a gesture Walter, but personally I owe him probably a years worth of intoxication. Thanks for reminding me Walter, thanks for all your hard work Andrew, it is always appreciated, even if it isn't said so pubically or via email.

Well I don’t` know if this is going to help your motivation but here is an example of how, in addition to writing amazing reviews for all of us obsessed with aggressive music, you also help bands a whole lot: I first heard about Overmars a few years ago reading a review you made of their split with Donefor and now my label is about to release the vinyl edition for their upcoming full length (and hopefully give them the exposure they deserve in the US).
